Benefits

We have listed below a number benefits other clubs already using football Net have told us about. We have also come up with some Fund Raising ideas which you may find useful.

1. football Net keeps everyone involved with the club more informed about games, results and players. We experienced a period where we were struggling to get volunteers for helping out and even parents to come and watch the games. Now people can view the fixtures anytime in advance and follow the results as they happen
2. It costs money! How can this be on the benefits page?
Yes we have been involved in several sites that we e-mail the results to and they are not updated promptly or there are mistakes which take ages to correct, as we pay for this service if anything goes wrong we can contact football Net and they get it fixed straight away. You get what you pay for.
3. As soon as the game has finished I am able to input the results and they are on the web immediately for people to view, we have even found one of the parents is a keen reporter and he can add the match report later that evening without sending e-mails and information being lost or incorrect.
4. It has allowed people such as parents working away, sponsors and even grandparents living in Australia to keep in touch with how the team is doing and send us e-mails wishing us luck for the next game.
5. We have found the latest news area invaluable, news of postponed matches, meeting points for away games, training night information and anything going on with the club can be added in real time. A real time saver, especially not having to ring round the whole team with the news of a postponed game or the meeting time for the next game.
6. I run a youth team and the boys can check their results, show their mates and keep tabs on the highest goalscorer and top man of the match winner.
7. Our main sponsors have become more involved in the team as they can follow the results each week and have been keen to help out more with kits and equipment since we went live.
8. It has been really useful to look at other clubs pages and follow their season from all over the world. Also looking at the case studies so we can share handy tips about training and fund raising.
9. We have found attracting players has become easier as they can find out about the team and how to join.
